I honestly have never been so scared of thunder in my entire life.
It was about 130 am when I woke up to thunder so loud my window slats were shaking.
Sitting straight up in bed the entire room was illuminated and immediately followed by deafening thunder. Feeling your ribs vibrating, seeing the walls and the house shake.
Jurea and I sitting in our beds, her speaking on the phone while I text all my friends here that are also awake and scared.
Just so you really understand my roommate is from Houston and was awake and scared, my other two roommates served in Texas, everyone I have talked to from every corner of the world said this was the scariest storm they have been in.
Our power was out for about 10 hours
